Amalfi Coast wedding venues

Wedding venues on Amalfi Coast - Italy - Italian Wedding Planners

When you engage SposiamoVi – Italian Wedding Planners to plan your wedding, we painstakingly select the best vendors that host amazing wedding receptions. Some of these properties even have on site accommodation for you and your wedding guests.

We will bring you to various locations so that you can make your choice based on availability, price, friendliness of the owner/manager and the feel of the venue. Visiting these locations will pay off in the end as you and your partner will have the ability to assess all the various characteristics personally, eliminating unnecessary surprises on your big day.

All these venues have uniquely distinguishing features which could present advantages or disadvantages for your wedding. Each venue varies dramatically: choose for simple, rustic farmhouse accommodation; or the opulence of a villa run with the style, efficiency and prices of a 5 star hotel. Your tastes and budget will determine the right mix for you.

We are generally able to offer multiple solutions for every couple. Your task is to enjoy yourself while discovering the right venue for your wedding. Salute!

This awe-inspiring coast is awash with restaurants of varying quality and sizes. The restaurants we select have a steady track record of providing delicious food and wine. What’s more, they have hosted wedding receptions before. Generally a restaurant wedding is the most affordable option, but not necessarily the lowest quality.

The coast has many hotels on offer. Hotels of varying shapes, sizes, standards and price ranges. We select hotels based on positive previous experience. Most wedding receptions take place in the hotel’s dining room (unless otherwise stated). And, for small to medium sized weddings, some or all of the guests stay overnight on site. However, when it comes to larger wedding parties, only some of the attendees might be able to stay on site. This comes down to either a limited number of available rooms or because some rooms may already be allocated to agents. A hotel wedding is by far the most popular choice for weddings in this region.

Villas, Monasteries and stand alone properties

The Amalfi Coast also offers several old villas, monasteries and interesting buildings along the coast which can serve as your wedding location, reception venue and accommodation site. These properties were originally built for purposes other than that of a hotel or celebration venue, making some of them better than others. However, these venues offer the wow factor that a hotel might lack.  Please note that most of these venues have limited on site accommodation.

List of comunes (Town Halls)

At the heart of this seafront town is a functional yet striking town hall. The ceremony room is the largest on the coast, and can easily accommodate 100+ people. This town hall offers a good degree of privacy from the tourists outside.

Positano offers the only town hall on the Amalfi Coast that lets you say ‘I do!’ during an outdoor ceremony on a beautiful terrace overlooking the bay.

The town hall is located on the top of the hill, quite far from the heart of the town. This is where the Positano’s most beautiful hotels and restaurants are located. For this reason it’s important to include a shuttle service for you and your guests.

A beautiful, intimate comune that has room for no more than 30-35 guests. It’s located in the heart of Ravello, very close to several quality hotels such as Hotel Palazzo Sasso and Hotel Caruso. It’s also about a 15 minute walk from Villa Maria, Villa Eva and Villa Cimbrone.

The Maiori comune is extremely beautiful with its amazing frescoed walls and lovely garden.

One of the great unknown wedding towns of the Amalfi Coast, only a handful of weddings take place at this comune each year. The Maiori comune is truly amazing, incredibly inexpensive and has few tourists. Up to 100 people can be accommodated in the large room, which boasts breathtaking frescoed walls and ceilings, or outdoors in the stunning garden.

There is one small comune just off the town square on Capri. It’s an exquisite, formal room with large windows and can comfortably entertain up to 50 guests. However, the square on which the comune sits is packed with tourists throughout the summer. If you choose to have a summer wedding on Capri it will not be an intimate experience.
