Russian Orthodox Wedding in Venice

Orthodox ceremonies in Italy are becoming increasingly popular especially in Venice where a sweet little Orthodox church stands in a small “campo” with no tourist shops in the surroundings. In Venetian-Byzantine style the church has a plain brick facade, bell-tower and simple yet ancient interiors with perhaps the oldest frescoes of the city. Ksenia and Lucio, in respect of their traditions chose to hold here their Russian Orthodox wedding in Venice.
