Generally in Italy, and therefore in Tuscany too, civil ceremonies are performed by the Mayor or a delegate in the Town Hall or in a venue belonging to the local municipality. Tuscany has some beautiful historic town halls, which are a magic frame for an unforgettable ceremony.

The Indian couple, Nindy and Hetul, chose Santa Margherita Ligure to celebrate their wedding in a more than ever mediterranean style.

The day of their dreams, started with the sunset of their pre-wedding’s eve, when Moroccan music and a belly dancer accompanied the typical customs of the Indian tradition:  the dressing of the bride, the application of special flavoured ointments and saffron powder together with the “bindi” on her forehead as a good omen (the small drop shaped shining stone).
