Stockings

The tradition says you should wear the finest and lighest stockings in a colour that comes as close as possible to the wedding dress like shades of ivory or white but be careful not to get the "Nurse Effect". Don't forget that white shades can make an ankle look big. These days you can also choose natural looking stockings for the so called 'invisible effect' stocking.

Always buy spares and ask your bride's maids to carry them in their bags.

In summer you can have a light suntan and not wear stockings.
